As HR manager in my company, I certainly do need to be informed about new ideas and concepts that are practiced in the corporate industry. I think it is important to be aware of the trends in recruitment and management strategies because obviously, these are important issues in my job.

I read up frequently on management and recruitment strategies and there are books that prove to be helpful guides in my profession. Dennis Carey is an author I've found particularly insightful and his co-authors as well.
